Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) Consultation

NHS Coventry is consulting local stakeholders on its draft pharmaceutical needs assessment (PNA).

NHS Coventry has a responsibility for ensuring that people can obtain safe, effective and personal pharmaceutical services from a local community pharmacy. The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) looks at what the pharmacies in the city currently provide and helps design the types of services people in Coventry need from their community pharmacies.

We would welcome your comments and views on the draft PNA as part of this consultation. Please use the proforma to feed back your views. It asks you to think about some specific questions relating to the PNA. You are also free to raise any other issues you think are relevant to the PNA. We ask that all responses are returned no later than 4th January 2011.

As part of the development of the PNA, NHS Coventry commissioned surveys of people in Coventry and a range of other stakeholders. The results of these surveys can be found here should you be interested in some of the work that has been undertaken to develop the PNA.
