Equality Delivery System
NHS Coventry was an early adopter of the Equality Delivery System and, in conjunction with University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, and the Tamarind Centre, held a community event to ask our stakeholders in Coventry and Warwickshire about the issues that they considered affected particular groups, what anecdotal evidence they could contribute to the EDS and what actions they would like to see as a result. We were clear with them that not all their suggestions would be acted on.
We will be holding another joint event in early 2012 to feed back to the attendees about their contribution to the final versions of our EDS plans and the way forward.
