A stakeholder event will be held in spring. If you would like to attend then please let me know and I will send you an invitation nearer to the time. If any groups would like me to attend a meeting to answer any questions about what the Arden Cluster is doing in respect of equality and human rights within Coventry and Warwickshire then I would be delighted to do that. Please contact me using the information above.

We are pleased to make the Equality and Human Rights Strategy available to everyone in Coventry. Despite improvements in recent years, there remain considerable inequalities within Coventry; life expectancy and access to services vary significantly across the city. Therefore our strategy will set out our plans to address any potential for discrimination or unfairness. It will also set out our goals for equality and diversity in terms of race (ethnicity), disability, caring responsibility, age, gender (including gender identity), socio-economic inequalities, sexual orientation, religion and belief.

The strategy is also about our workforce. It will influence how we recruit, retain and develop our workforce so that it is not only representative of the diverse population of Coventry but also enables our staff (regardless of their diverse background) to achieve their maximum career potential.
