The aim of the Infection Control Service is to ensure that service users accessing healthcare and staff providing healthcare on behalf of NHS Coventry do so in a safe and clean environment. The Specialist Infection Control Nurses in conjunction with the Infection Control Committee formulate and implement an annual infection control programme that is implemented across NHS Coventry to minimise the spread of infection.
