Addressing Lifestyle Risk Management Issues
If we are to help our population live longer and healthier lives, then we must empower them to take control of the risk-taking behaviours that increase the likelihood of disease and premature death. This will also help to reduce the financial burden on the NHS.
Addressing Lifestyle Risk Management Issues Summary
Working with Coventry City Council, University Hospital, education, the voluntary and private sectors and the wider healthcare community, NHS Coventry is investing in services that help people look after themselves and improve their own health and wellbeing.
We have launched a range of city-wide health improvement programmes focused on proactive prevention as well as clinical service delivery.
These aim to address the issues of:
Smoking
Weight Management
Sexual Health
Alcohol
Work & Health
Children and Young People Health and Wellbeing
