Improving Lives, Saving Lives
At NHS Coventry, together with the rest of the NHS and wider public sector, we know that we must deliver better value for public money and continue to improve the quality of care and outcomes for our population.
Over the coming years we will improve health and well-being through focused action on Health Inequalities and by re-shaping services to meet people’s needs. We will systematically tackle the biggest causes of ill health and death within our city through addressing risk-taking behaviours, improving the overall quality of general practice, and improving the management of long term conditions.
Focusing on those areas which will have the maximum impact and make a real difference to the health of our population, we have identified three Priority Strategic Themes:
